Hernia (inguinal hernia)

  • Traditional Open Surgery:
A surgical incision is made over the hernia site to reposition the protruding tissue and repair the weakened abdominal wall.

  • Minimally Invasive Surgery (Laparoscopic Repair):
Small incisions are made around the navel and lower abdomen. A laparoscope is used to repair the hernia, resulting in less postoperative pain, smaller scars, and a faster recovery.

Epidermal Cyst Removal (Sebaceous Cyst Surgery)

  • Traditional Excision:
An elliptical incision is made to completely remove the cyst and its capsule. This method is particularly suitable for larger or inflamed cysts and offers a low recurrence rate.

  • Minimally Invasive / Laser-Assisted Removal:
A small incision (approximately 2–3 mm) is made to remove the cyst contents and capsule. This technique is ideal for visible areas such as the face, resulting in minimal scarring and improved cosmetic outcomes.

Ingrown Toenail

  • Non-Surgical Treatment:
A specialized nail brace or corrective strip is applied to gradually guide the toenail back to its natural growth direction, helping to relieve discomfort and prevent the nail from growing into the surrounding skin.

  • Surgical Treatment:
Performed by a surgeon, treatment may involve a Partial Nail Avulsion or Wedge Resection of the Nail Fold. This is often combined with chemical matricectomy (e.g., using phenol) to destroy the nail growth center responsible for the ingrown portion, providing a long-term solution with a low risk of recurrence.
